The Apostolate of The Fatima Statue of Our Lady of Fatima

Mission Statement

To spread the word of Fatima by bringing the Statue of Our Lady of Fatima to people’s homes. In this way, they are reminded of Her daily and to pray the rosary, since most people do not have the privilege of going to Fatima.

Our Blessed Mother’s Message at Fatima, Portugal in 1917

“When Our Blessed Mother appeared to the children in Fatima, she promised that if enough people prayed a daily Rosary, offered their daily work in reparation for the sins of mankind and for the conversion of sinners, World War One would end. If people did this, Russia would be converted and there would be peace in the world. World War One did end but Russia has not converted, there is not peace in the world, thus, she still wants us to pray a daily Rosary and to wear the brown scapular of Mount Carmel. A further request of Our Blessed Mother was to receive Holy Communion on five First Saturdays and to meditate for 15 minutes on the Mysteries of the Rosary.”

Our Lady would love to have all her children come on pilgrimage to Fatima but since that is impossible, she comes as a Pilgrim to homes. While in your home, she asks that you pray the Rosary daily to fulfill her requests and to make her message known to all.

The Fatima Statue of this Apostolate Goes to Homes for a Week

The Statue’s Custodian and Honor Guard will bring the statue to a person’s home on Saturday for one week and pick it up the next Saturday. These Statues only go to homes; they do not go to churches or other similar locations.

When the Statue Comes to Your Home, Here Is What You Need to Know:

The statue is about 3.5 feet tall.

It must be in a safe place with a sturdy table and an electrical outlet in the immediate vicinity.

The Statue will be brought to the person’s home by the Honor Guard on Saturday and will be picked up the next Saturday by them. Each Statue has a different time frame for delivering and picking up so you will need to contact the Parish of the Statue for the exact times.

When the Statue is delivered to the home by the Honor Guard, they will set up the Statue at the location that you select, provide a light, candle, intention box and prayer cards. There may also be rosaries, scapulars, additional prayer cards and other holy information. The Honor Guard will lead 5 decades of the rosary along with some additional prayers as well as instructions on how to proceed during the week. It is required that 5 decades of the rosary be said daily. The Honor Guard members will be at your home for about 45 to 60 minutes.

On the next Saturday, the Honor Guard will arrive to pick up the Statue. They will lead 5 decades of the rosary along with some additional prayers and then pack up all the items and the Statue. If you would like to have the Enthronement of the Sacred Heart of Jesus as King in your home, please make prior arrangements with the Custodian of the Statue.

If you have any questions or need further information, please contact the Statue Custodian. You can obtain the Custodian’s contact information by contacting the parish office of the Statue.
